02Clean and test the maintenance scopeFor preventive service, we inspect accessible upper areas, remove appropriate debris, and verify drain flow without promising that maintenance repairs an active leak.
03Escalate when diagnosis is requiredIf water is entering the cabin or the condition is not resolved by maintenance, we recommend controlled testing and leak-path tracing through the comprehensive diagnostic service.
Is drain cleaning the same as sunroof leak repair?No. Cleaning is preventive maintenance or one possible correction. An active leak can involve disconnected tubing, the drain tray, cassette, body seams, bonded glass, roof attachments, or another source.
Why does my vehicle still leak after the drains were cleaned?A tube may be damaged or disconnected, the blockage may be lower in the body, or the water may be entering somewhere else. Controlled testing is needed when the cabin continues to get wet.
How often should sunroof drains be inspected?There is no universal schedule. Vehicles parked under trees or exposed to fir needles, leaves, pollen, and debris may need more frequent inspection than vehicles stored indoors.
Does the mobile price include water-leak diagnosis?No. The $350 mobile service is preventive drain maintenance. Comprehensive diagnosis and repair of active vehicle water intrusion is scheduled through the Poulsbo shop.
